Old Faithful by Moonlight
In an earlier time, spotlights on top of the Old Faithful Inn were used to illuminate the famous geyser during night eruptions. The lights were later removed, however, and visitors to the park lucky enough to see Old Faithful erupt by the light of a full moon can attest to the magic of seeing its tall plume of steam glowing in the moonlight.
Though this card was printed in the era of illuminated eruptions, no mention is made of artificial lighting.

Text on reverse side:

This geyser is in plain sight from Old Faithful Inn, and every sixty-three minutes, without variation, winter and summer, day and night, gives its exhibition. Eruptions by moonlight, sunrise or sunset are most brilliant.
