Well, it has been a quiet week in Lake Wobegon... Garrisons Keillor's "A Prairie Home Companion" is broadcast live every Saturday night at 6PM (eastern time) on public radio stations nationwide. On July 5, 1997, Keillor brought his radio show to Yellowstone's Old Faithful Lodge recreation hall for a live program that included old campfire songs, a visit with park superintendent Mike Finley, ranger Ann Deutsch, live remotes to Old Faithful (which performed admirably during the show), and to volunteers from GOSA (aka Geyser Observation Society of America), and singing waiters and waitresses from the Old Faithful Inn dining room. Keillor's weekly "News from Lake Wobegon" told the story of a car trip to Yellowstone in 1955 with his uncle, aunts, and cousins.
